The job incumbent is responsible for managing, developing and controlling the implementation of financial strategies, policies, procedures and, transactions in order to maximize accuracy and on time completeness of financial operations.
  • Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management.
  • Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
  • Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
  • Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
  • Participate in target costing activities to create products that meets predetermined price goals.
  • Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing.
  • Compile key business metrics and report on them to management.
  • Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.
  • Establish strong relationships with managers and supervisors so as to identify their needs and seek full range business solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management.
  • Anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.
  • Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Al Ameen or equivalent, and Business Intelligence, a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
  • The finance manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Two to four years of experience in a similar position;  with operations preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the CPA/CMA/CFA designations.
